This site includes up-to-date information on the current drug culture locally and nationally, resources for parents and teens, and information on the most common drugs seen in the lake.

The Coalition meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month.  We also have several workgroups that focus on specific areas requiring action.

The South Tahoe Drug Free Coalition was created to address the high levels of youth substance use in South Lake Tahoe, CA; a rural, resort town with a population that increases from 20,000 to approximately 100,000 in the peak vacation seasons, which makes our Coalition unique.
